Fit Guide

Is CarbinX a good fit for your facility? That depends on a number of factors. Will it physically fit in your building? Is it compatible with your existing equipment? And will it perform well once it’s installed?

Here are questions that will help you to start assessing the suitability of CarbinX for you.

Location and access

  • The footprint of a CarbinX unit is roughly 30” x 78”. Would your mechanical room house a unit of this size?

  • The size of the CarbinX is roughly the size of two refrigerators connected back-to-back. Would your building (doors, hallways, etc.) provide access to an appliance of this size?

Compatability

  • CarbinX is compatible with UL category 1, 2 and 3 vented natural-gas heating appliances. Does your device fit into one of these categories?

Boiler Performance

  • CarbinX works best with devices with boiler inputs between 200,000 BTU/hr and 1,500,000 BTU/hr. Is your device within this range?

How to buy

If you’re interested in installing a CarbinX unit in your commercial building, the process typically involves three broad steps:

  1. First, we need to see if there’s a fit between your needs and expectations and what we can deliver. This typically includes sharing information that will help us assess the compatibility of CarbinX with your facility and explaining how our business model helps accelerate your return on investment.

How this part of the sales process proceeds is up to you. It can take days or months. We can do it in-person, video conference, phone or email.

  2. If we agree that there’s an opportunity to work together, we’ll meet with your operations personnel (property manager, facility manager, maintenance supervisor) and tour your mechanical room and assess the suitability of the CarbinX for your facility.

  3. We will reach out to our trusted HVAC contractors with the opportunity to provide a competitive bid on your installation. We will then provide you with a comprehensive quote that contains the cost of equipment and installation.

Make it yours.
